Years ago this started out as a simple attempt at building a wood guitar amp enclosure for a vintage Fender 5F1 Tweed Champ amp... they are usually made from finger jointed pine... after cutting the top, bottom and 2 side pieces of Baltic birch I then using my 40yrs old Craftsman table saw for the finger joints... total disaster... very inaccurate and too sloppy... so I started over and doweled, glued and cleat screwed them and was pretty happy with the result... (2) 5F1 enclosures and a 5E3 enclosure were made...after that I decided to continue by the building the amplifiers too... two years later they were completed... 

This project is finishing up all the knife and spoon blanks I had left...It may be more then 10yrs ago I made an entire set of Zhen knives plus a dozen more individual ones, like the big Chef, the Santoku and the Nakiri...Of all the different types of knives I find myself using a Santoku the most...

Bought a block on eBay... Liked it so much I bought all 10 blocks that were available...  All the blocks are around 4" x 4" x 6" tall and weigh ~8lbs each... Very difficult to find pieces this size for sale and were ~$6 a pound...

It's been a while since my last post but that doesn't mean it's be quiet in Pugtown...

Today is December 9th 2023...I chose this date as it is a bit of an anniversary for me...
